Option B: Downward Venting (Downdraft Systems)

If you want to keep your sightlines completely open, a downdraft ventilation system is an elegant alternative. These systems pull smoke and odors downward, drawing air through a slim slot next to the burners and venting it out through ductwork running beneath the floor.
